Meet our MD & Co-Founder
Rob Sutherland

Rob has built Inspired Dwelling’s reputation and is now a leading figure in the smart home industry.

As the previous Chairman on the board for CEDIA (Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association) and former board member, Rob helps to provide strategic direction for the industry around the world. His role allowed him to gain valuable insights into trends in other countries, specifically the US.

Rob has more than twenty years’ experience in the private sector and a comprehensive background in corporate IT. He has managed extensive global infrastructure projects for large corporations including BP, BT, and M&S.

His background has dictated the direction for Inspired Dwellings: no matter the job size, the basis is always a robust network and WIFI. This is built into every project.

We are an accredited CPD provider for RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) and an Industry Partner of the BIID (British Institution of Interior Design). We work closely with architects, interior designers and end-users to ensure we deliver their vision as well as the technology.

With our personalised approach, we endeavour to meet the needs of our clients, tailoring their entire home technology experience using a completely bespoke approach.
